IMS Bearing Registration
Registering or Verifying Your IMS Retrofit or IMS Solution Bearing
Registering your IMS Retrofit or IMS Solution bearing is crucial to activate your warranty and track installation details. This guide walks you through the three key steps: performing an IMS Lookup, completing an IMS Check, and finishing the Warranty Registration process.
1. IMS Bearing Lookup
Begin by verifying your bearing’s details in the LN Engineering database:
- Navigate to LN Engineering IMS Lookup.
- Enter your bearing serial number (found on the packaging or bearing housing) and click “Lookup.”
- Review the returned information, including model type, manufacture date, and any prior registration status.
2. IMS Check
Next, confirm that your retrofit installation is recognized by the IMS Retrofit system:
- Visit IMS Retrofit IMS Check.
- Input your vehicle’s VIN and IMS bearing serial number.
- Submit the form to verify that your VIN/serial combination is valid and see the current status. As we only reference the last few digits of any VIN for privacy reasons, there may be duplicate registrations but this can be resolved typically by looking at model year and mileage.
3. Warranty Registration
After lookup and check, complete your warranty registration to activate coverage:
- Go to IMS Retrofit Warranty Registration.
- Follow Step 1: Enter basic information (name, email, phone).
- Proceed to Step 2: Provide vehicle details (make, model, year, VIN).
- Complete Step 3: Enter IMS bearing serial number and installation date.
- Review and submit the registration form.
- Send in the registration card and original bearing.
- Please 90-120 days for processing; we do not send out confirmation emails when your registration has been processed.
Key Tips
- Keep a copy of your registration confirmation email for your records.
- If you encounter errors, double‑check the serial number format (no spaces or dashes).
- Registration must be completed within 30 days of installation to qualify for full warranty; Registrations submitted after this period will not be processed.
- Be sure to mail your original IMS bearing with the registration card after completing the online portion using trackable methods.
- Incomplete registrations will not be processed.
- For do it yourself installations, upload proof of purchase for the IMS bearing in lieu of a shop invoice or workorder.
